CAJuN PROJECT
Automated creation and management of a connected, collaborative, interactive and real-time digital twin.
Automated digital twin creation
CAJuN project
Automated creation of a digital twin
The CAJuN project is led by a consortium comprised of three complementary partners who are each expert in their field:
This ambitious project concerns the governance and management of a public building, via a digital twin
ARSKAN had the LPA Cordeliers parking in Lyon and its headquarters modeled in 3D. The large extracted point cloud was meshed and compressed thanks to the ARSKAN codec, to be visualized by the parking agents, from a tablet or a smartphone. All documents related to the parking are stored in the digital twin, in ARSKAN SiloData platform.
The parking was completely dematerialized and reproduce exactly, to the last millimeter.
This project is strategic: the parking has strong constraints; it’s a 28.000m² building, which receives public in a confined and dangerous environment (fuel tanks of the parked vehicles).
This digital twin has been designed first for predictive maintenance.
Technologically speaking, the CAJuN consortium spends a significant portion of its time for basic research, by hiring a dedicated researcher who remains at the INSA research laboratory in Villeurbanne (69). In the same time, the ARSKAN R&D team develops and optimizes its algorithms (progressive compression and decompression) through the ARSKAN codec, solution, to make massive data processing accessible via the web, on a simple mobile phone, through the ARSKAN MoveInside and 3D shape recognition by AI.

Our funding partner

R&D Booster Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region
R&D Booster promote collaborative R&D projects, with a minimum of two companies and one research/knowledge diffusion organization, regarding to develop new products, processes or services. ARSKAN obtained this funding as part of the CAJuN project.
